World domination will be mine, muahaha :-)

Waaay out of spec

Got several extruder jams today (breaking the print of my clandestine  world domination project , muahaha).

The filament should measure 3.0mm with, say, a 5% tolerance.
Turns out it measures 3.7mm at a length of 200mm.

This is premium PLA by a renowned supplier. I never had this with cheap PLA from China.

This sucks. What's your opinion?

 

PS: Remains to say, that the supplier replaced the material without a fuss. I got a brand new spool of material, which prints very nicely and is also perfectly up to spec.
